Tomosynthesis
This technology is simply a more extended version of digital mammography. For this test, the breast is pressed from above and below, and low-dose X-rays are sent and images are taken from different angles. These images can be in 3D visualizing for the diagnosis.
Breast MRI
It is a guide in determining the character of multifocal and small lesions, especially in young women with dense breasts.
PET-Tomography
It is a highly advanced technology among imaging methods and is an effective method for tumor screening of the whole body. This method is frequently preferred for high-risk patients, detailed examination of lesions that occur during follow-up of patients with breast cancer, and determining the effectiveness of treatments applied to patients with metastases.
MRI
MRI can be applied to patients who are at high risk for breast cancer, as well as for screening purposes; It is used to determine whether there is any spread of the disease in the body in patients diagnosed with cancer as a result of biopsy, to evaluate metastases of unknown origin, to identify cases with recurrent disease, to see whether any cancerous cells remain in that area immediately after surgery and to determine the patient’s response to chemotherapy treatment.
Plain Lung Graphy
It is an easy and simple display method. It helps to identify lesions that can be seen in the lung in general terms.
Liver Ultrasonography
Examines liver tissue. It is a guide in matters such as the presence of metastasis, the biliary tract and the vascular structure of the liver.
Whole Body Bone Scintigraphy
It allows to determine whether there is metastasis by examining the bones.
Ultrasonography
Breast ultrasound is a method of sonographic examination of the breast with known ultrasound devices. Ultrasound is used as the first imaging method when any complaints occur in the breast of young women under the age of 40.
Mammography
It is a classic method that easily visualizes the breast. The importance of mammographic findings in the early diagnosis of breast cancer is great. The state of any change in the breast before it becomes cancer can be captured by digital mammography.
